Behind the Scenes

The host of GOLFING THE GREAT LAKES is veteran television broadcaster Larry Adderley. Adderley's credits include sportscasting for all three television network affiliates in Detroit and appearing on ABC World News Tonight, ABC's Good Morning America, and ABC College Football.

Adderley has hosted several live programs including Detroit Red Wing Hockey and the Emmy Award-winning Michigan Bell Showdown, which spotlights one of Michigan's major golf tournaments. He also was honored by his peers as Michigan Sportscaster of the Year.

Executive Producer Tom Durant is president and owner of Video Images, Inc., a full service television production facility in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Durant has produced more than 200 30-minute sports programs for PASS and the SportsChannel systems, including specials on ice skating, hydroplane racing, football and basketball.

Associate Producer Art McCafferty handles course arrangements and chairs the selection committee. He is also publisher of Great Lakes Sports Publications, Inc., which produces The Michigan Golfer magazine, the golfing voice of Michigan for the past 16 years.
