Hills's Heart of the Lakes

Owned and operated by the Senior PGA Tour pro Mike Hill, this 18-hole layout is nestled near the chain of lakes in Brooklyn. Hill has produced a course to challenge players of all abilities. His lush fairways and fast, true greens rival those of country clubs. But unlike those clubs, golfers here are unhampered by big city rates or traffic. Golfers enjoy this truly unique layout. Lakeland Hills

Sparrow Hawk

Don't let the name fool you, this 18-hole layout challenges even the better player. Owners enlisted the expertise of architect Jeff Gorney (designer of Little Traverse Bay) to design nine more holes to complement the original 9 (recognized by the National Golf Foundation as one of the best 9-hole courses in the region). The results are a unique blend of hilly to gently rolling holes, some wooded/some open holes and a creek running through, or along 7 of the 9 new holes - truly a shotmaker's course. Much of the new land was left natural for a stunning contrast to the lush green of the golf holes. Golfer's need to know their games to score well on this challenging course with its fast greens and well maintained fairways.
