HawksHead Links is a championship golf course set on 240 acres of scrub pine and rolling dunes. It is a traditional links style course situated along the Michigan shoreline and offers a variety of playing conditions. Emerald fairways meander through humps and bumps of golden dunes. Scattered about the dunes are strategically placed bunkers that will challenge every golfer. Architect Arther Hills thinks HawksHead may be one of his best.

Amenities include: Cocktail lounge, full service restaurant and grill, pro shop and one of the finest practice facilities in southwestern Michigan. $$

Old Channel Trail Golf Course

Old Channel Trail Golf Course invites you to enjoy the scenic and breathtaking 27 holes nestled on the shore of Lake Michigan. Established in 1926, Old Channel Trail provides golfers with an exciting adventure. The founding nine holes of the Woods were designed by famed golf course architect Robert Bruce Harris, and features Scottish-style bunkers and stately maples. The challenging holes and rolling greens of the Meadow nine were designed by W. Bruce Matthews in 1966. The newest addition to Old Channel Trail is the Valley nine, which weaves through trees and across a ball-hungry chasm. Designed by Jerry Matthews, the Valley opened for play in 1995 and offers new challenges for even seasoned players.

Directions: Exit US 31 West at Fruitvale Road four miles to Chase Road. Turn left at Chase Road, 2 miles to Hancock Road. Turn right at Hancock, 1/4 mile to Old Channel Trail. Turn left and travel along the golf course to the main parking area 1/2 mile on the right.
