Perfect for the golfer just getting started in the game, these instructional programs provide an introduction and complete overview of every aspect of the game. Our PGA/LPGA instructors will cover every shot from tee to green. Our low student to teacher ratio insures much individual attention. Additionally, you will receive instruction in the " how to's" of playing golf on our practice holes. Finally, we will make sure you leave feeling confident about the written and the unwritten rules of golf etiquette. Mini camps are our most popular and successful programs. Due to the overwhelming success of our introductory mini camps in the last five years, we decided it was time to introduce a program to help golfers take their game to the next level. This camp is designed for the golfer who is currently playing the game yet has had very little or no instruction. Our trained teaching professionals begin their evaluation by having you play the two regulation golf holes on site at The Golf Academy at the Meadows. They will be looking for the patterns in your swing which repeat themselves and will build on those. The short game and scoring techniques will also be covered. Our student to teacher ratios are never more than six students to one instructor so you are assured individual attention. This program will be offered conveniently on both evenings and weekends. Designed for the golfer who wants to take their game to the next level, The Players Series begins with a nine hole playing lesson at The Meadows Golf Club. During the playing lesson, your PGA/LPGA instructor will evaluate your current strengths and weaknesses as well as discuss course management. Together you will set goals and develop a plan of action for most efficiently lowering your scores. Your playing lesson is followed by three hours of personalized instruction executing your action plan. This program promises lower scores through targeting improvements where YOU most need it.

Yet so often golfers practice and take lessons in only their full swing. The quickest way for any golfer to reduce their score is to improve their short game. At The Golf Academy, we utilize our state-of-the-art practice facility to isolate and improve shot-making techniques on and around the green. Our PGA and LPGA certified instructors will introduce score reducing improvements in your style of putting, chipping, pitching and bunker play. For developing juniors or those just getting interested in the game, The Golf Academy at The Meadows has several sessions of junior camps. Our goal is to introduce life long fundamentals of the game in a way which is positive and fun. Our PGA/LPGA instructors will cover all aspects of the game; full swing, pitching, chipping, putting and most importantly the rules and etiquette of golf. With low student to teacher ratios and groups paired by ability, the program guarantees that each student will receive instruction appropriate to his or her golfing level. Junior golfers will get first hand experience as they hone their skills on the regulation practice holes with professional instructors.

Rain or shine, the teaching shelter is covered, juniors learn and have fun as games are utilized to keep students interested. Choose the three day series that fits your summer schedule.

The Golf Academy at The Meadows Golf Club has established a reputation for this very popular and unique camp helping competitive high school players reach their full potential. Both young men and women will benefit from the wealth of knowledge brought to this school from the experienced players, coaches and PGA/LPGA professionals instructing this school. The Junior Player Camp covers all aspects of the game during these four full days of instruction. Especially emphasized are improved self management and golf course strategy.

The latest in video feedback is used for full swing corrections. Score reducing techniques for putting, chipping, pitching and bunker play will be stressed. Strategies, drills and games to make practice more productive and fun will be introduced.

Participants will enjoy rounds of golf with their professionals. Lunch each day is also included. Student to teacher ratios are small and space is limited so sign up early for this excellent opportunity.

This program is designed for your young player who has golf experience, yet isn't quite ready for our Junior Player Camp. During these three days our PGA/LPGA Professionals will cover every aspect of the game including; full swing video analysis, pitching, chipping, putting, bunker play, and uneven lies. Students will enjoy nine holes of golf with their instructor working on strategy and course management. Our state-of-the-art practice facility, including practice holes will be utilized in improving all areas of his or her game. Student to teacher ratios are kept low and much professional attention is offered each player. This program has been very successful and is sure to fill quickly. The Golf Academy at The Meadows is proud to welcome Annette Thompson, LPGA Master Professional as a guest instructor. Annette has been LPGA Teacher of the Year, President of the LPGA Teaching Division, Director of Education for the National Golf Foundation, and Coach of the Penn State University Women's Golf Team. Currently she is teaching at Ballen Isles Country Club in North Palm Beach, Florida. She is on staff with The Peggy Kirk Bell Golfafari Golf Schools at Pine Needles in Pinehurst, North Carolina and is a contributing editor with Golf For Women Magazine. Annette, along with the Academy's PGA/LPGA staff, is eager to assist women players to reach their full potential.

This school is designed for women players who love to play and really want to improve. We promise not to reinvent your swing! Instead we will focus on lowering your score through building on your strengths, sharpening your short game techniques and improving your course management.

Your weekend begins Friday at 5:00 p.m. at The Golf Academy at the Meadows. We will take time to get to know you and your golf game. The Instructors will assist you in evaluating your current strengths and weaknesses. Also, we will take time to specifically set measurable goals, helping you develop an improvement plan based on where you want to take your game. Saturday will start at 9:00 A.M. and will be a full day of instruction particularly emphasizing scoring techniques and the short game, Sunday, our session begins at 9:00 A.M. at the Academy as we reinforce important concepts introduced on Saturday. After lunch, we will play eighteen holes at The Meadows working on course and self management.
