The Players SeriesDesigned for the golfer who wants to take their game to the next level, The Players Series begins with a nine hole playing lesson at The Meadows Golf Club. During the playing lesson, your PGA/LPGA instructor will evaluate your current strengths and weaknesses as well as discussing course management. Together you will set goals and develop a plan of action for most efficiently lowering your scores. Your playing lesson is followed by three hours of personalized instruction executing your action plan. This program promises lower scores through targeting improvements where YOU most need it. |

Junior CampFor developing juniors or those just getting interested in the game, The Golf Academy at The Meadows has several sessions of junior camps. Our goal is to introduce life long fundamentals of the game in a way which is positive and fun. Our PGA/LPGA instructors will cover all aspects of the game; full swing, pitching, chipping, putting and most importantly the rules and etiquette of golf. With low student to teacher ratios and groups paired by ability, the program guarantees that each student will receive instruction appropriate to his or her golfing level. Junior golfers will get first hand experience as they hone their skills on the regulation practice holes with professional instructors. Rain or shine, the teaching shelter is covered, juniors learn and have fun as games are utilized to keep students interested. Choose the three day series that fits your summer schedule. |

Nine Hole Junior CampThis program is designed for your young player who has golf experience, yet isn't quite ready for our Junior Player Camp. During these three days our PGA/LPGA Professionals will cover every aspect of the game including; full swing video analysis, pitching, chipping, putting, bunker play, and uneven lies. Students will enjoy nine holes of golf with their instructor working on strategy and course management. Our state-of-the-art practice facility, including practice holes will be utilized in improving all areas of his or her game. Student to teacher ratios are kept low and much professional attention is offered each player. This program was a success in 1997 and is sure to fill quickly. Junior Player CampThe Golf Academy at The Meadows Golf Club has established a reputation for this very popular and unique camp helping competitive high school players reach their full potential. Both young men and women will benefit from the wealth of knowledge brought to this school from the experienced players, coaches and PGA/LPGA professionals instructing this school. The Junior Player Camp covers all aspects of the game during these four full days of instruction. Especially emphasized are improved self management and golf course strategy. The latest in video feedback is used for full swing corrections. Score reducing techniques for putting, chipping, pitching and bunker play will be stressed. Strategies, drills and games to make practice more productive and fun will be introduced. Participants will enjoy rounds of golf with their professionals. Lunch each day is also included. Student to teacher ratios are small and space is limited so sign up early for this excellent opportunity. |

High School Girls Spring Training CampAll young women getting ready for their high school competitive season are welcome to attend this spring warm up camp. Taught by PGA/LPGA Director of Instruction, Patti Butcher, and the Grand Valley State University Women's Golf Team, this camp is new for 1998. Not only will swing fundamentals be reviewed, but all aspects of the short game will be covered as well. This intensive eight hours of instruction and focused practice will provide a great kick off to a great season. |

High School Boys Spring Training CampDesigned for all young men who are preparing for their high school competitive season, this school is not as comprehensive as our Junior Player Camp. Our PGA/LPGA instructors will lead these ten hours of instruction and practice. We will review swing fundamentals and short game techniques. This focused session will provide a great kick-off for those players who may have not competed or practiced as they would have liked during the summer season. |

High School Golf Coaches ClinicAs a coach, you rarely have time to work on your own game. During this special two-day instructional seminar the focus will be you - how your golf game can improve, how you can set goals and implement practice strategies which will help you lower your score. But, how will this help your student-athletes? During the course of these two days, our PGA/LPGA instructors will cover all aspects of swing fundamentals, short game scoring techniques, and mental practice and play. Our simple, yet effective presentations may be copied to fit your practice sessions. workbooks will be provided and plenty of time will be allowed for questions and troubleshooting. Day One of this program will be spent at The Academy utilizing our state-of-the-art practice facility working on the techniques and skills necessary to play every shot from tee to green. Day Two begins in the classroom at The Acadmey covering mental skills and preparation for peak performance. After lunch on Day Two, professionals and participants will play The Meadows championship course together implementing your new skills and strategies. Lunch both days is included. Treat yourself to the reward of focusing on your game, it will do your team good. |

Customized Group InstructionThe Golf Academy at The Meadows encourages golfers of all abilities to improve their skills and maximize their enjoyment of the game. The Academy's PGA/LPGA instructors will develop specific instructional packages based on the needs of your group. Single lessons, a series of lessons, a short game clinic or a playing lesson can all be designed for you and your friends, your foursome or your organization.
